Flowery Branch senior Ellen Kercher finished 11th overall in her first appearance at the Junior World Weightlifting Championship on Friday. Kercher completed five out of six lifts successfully setting three personal records and school records in the 48-kilogram class. She went 3 for 3 in the snatch, finishing with 64 kg, and lifted 77 kg in the clean and jerk.
