East Hall grad Walter Hill recently committed to play to basketball at Southwestern Illinois College, according to the Belleville News-Democrat.
Hill joins Blue Storm program after playing football for a year at the University of Georgia, where he was redshirted. He originally committed with the Bulldogs to play basketball.
Hill, who graduated from East Hall in 2007, was a two-sport star with the Vikings. In football, he passed for over 2,000 yards and was an-state selection at quarterback.
In basketball, he averaged 25 points and was ranked the 49th-best shooting guard in the nation by ESPN.com.
Hill has two years of eligibility with Southwestern Illinois.
