It shouldn’t be too hard for East Hall’s boys to get past Tuesday’s 2-0 loss to North Oconee in the Region 8-AA tournament championship game in Gainesville. In just eight days, the Vikings (12-3) will play their first home playoff game in school history as a result of finishing as the region runner-up. Even though the loss threw a hitch in the winning streak East Hall was hoping to carry into the postseason and erased the magic from last Friday’s 1-0 win in the final seconds against East Jackson, the thought of coming back to play again in front of the home fans is still pretty soothing.
