The Dawson County boys basketball team defeated Pacelli 66-33 in the championship game of the Pacelli Christmas tournament on Tuesday in Columbus.

Jacob Evans recorded a double-double and scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Tigers (11-3).
Grant Shope added 10 points in the win.

Dawson County plays host to Lambert on Jan. 5 in Dawsonville.

PICKENS GIRLS 66, GORDON CENTRAL 42: Jazmine Goss scored 21 points to lead the Lady Dragons on Monday.

Megan Womack added 15 points and Lindsey Hammontree added 11 points in the win.

Pickens (5-7) faces North Paulding at the Pickens Christmas Classic at 6 p.m. Dec. 28 in Jasper.
