Chestatee high baseball coach Wes Gentry announced his resigination Wednesday after meeting with principal Chip Underwood and athletic director Stan Williams, according to a statement released by the school. Gentry has coached the War Eagles for the last five seasons. The War Eagles are 4-19 this season and will finish the campaign with a best-of-three consolation series at Monroe Area beginning at 4 p.m. Friday.
