Buford softball shuts out West Forsyth

The Buford High softball team posted another victory in their invitational on Thursday with a 6-0 win over West Forsyth at Buford City Park.

Tessa Daniels picked up her fifth win of the season after going six innings and striking out seven for the Lady Wolves.

At the plate Jordan Deep led Buford, going 3 for 3 with 2 RBIs and one run scored.

Kallie Case went 2 for 2, scored a run and stole two bases for the Lady Wolves to go along with Bailey Burnette’s one RBI.

Lexi Overstreet had a 2 for 3 night with an RBI and a run scored for Buford.

The Lady Wolves (9-6) play again at 8:30 a.m. today against Jefferson.
