After winning the program's first state title since 1977 earlier this week, Buford closes the season at No. 1 in Class AA.

The Wolves (31-4) defeated Pike County, 5-1, on Monday in Game 3 of the best-of-three state championship series.

Gainesville (24-7), which was eliminated in the second round by Woodward Academy, finished at No. 9 in Class AAA.
