Flowery Branch High quarterback Connor Shaw, North Hall offensive lineman Daniel Blitch, Buford fullback Jessel Curry, and Gainesville’s Thomas Sprague and Daunte Carr have been named to the play for the North squad in the annual GACA North-South All-Star football game on Dec. 29 in Columbus.

Curry helped the Wolves to its third consecutive Class AA state title this season, while Carr and Sprague led state runner-up Gainesville to its first title game appearance since 1982.

Shaw led Flowery Branch to the state semifinals this season, and Blitch was a three-year starter for the Trojans, leading North Hall to the second round of the playoffs this year.
