Macy Banks threw two hitless innings and Callie Hardison threw the final two innings as East Hall topped Greater Atlanta Christian 12-0. Hardison also went 3-for-3 hitting, while Callie Dale, Abigail Brown, Brooke Hewell and Carley Cox also had multiple-hit games for the Lady Vikings. 

During her time in the circle, Banks also had three strikeouts with no runs. 

VOLLEYBALL

CHEROKEE BLUFF SWEEPS TRI-MATCH: The Lady Bears topped White County (25-13, 25-22, 16-14) and West Hall (25-21, 25-14, 15-13) to open the season on Tuesday.

FLOWERY BRANCH SPLITS TRI-MATCH: The Lady Falcons took down Walnut Grove 20-25, 25-23, 15-10 on Tuesday, but fell to Winder-Barrow 25-23, 25-13. 

Senior Katie Williams led Flowery Branch with five aces and 14 kills, while fellow senior Sierra Lutz added one ace, seven kills and three blocks. 

Next up, the Lady Falcons will play another tri-match with North Oconee at Monroe Area on Thursday.
