High school football: Chestatee rallies for 45-42 win against Fannin County

Chestatee sophomore quarterback Christian Charles rushed for 338 yards and four touchdowns as it rallied for a 45-42 win against Fannin County on Friday in Blue Ridge. Charles also completed 16 of 24 throws for 170 yards as the War Eagles (1-3) overcame a 21-point deficit. 

Charles scored on runs of 52, 16, 10 and 4 yards. Leading the War Eagles in receiving was Seth Pressley with 11 catches for 142 yards.

On defense, Robbie James had 13 tackles (two for a loss) and David Woodard had 11 tackles. Ethan Corley had two tackles, two interceptions and a pair of pass breakups for the War Eagles. 

On Friday, Chestatee hosts Denmark to open the region stretch of the schedule.
