Gwinnett falls 4-3 at Buffalo

Mitch Jones had a two-run home run in the sixth inning for the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves in a 4-3 loss to the Buffalo Bisons on Saturday night in Buffalo, N.Y. Freddie Freeman (2-for-4) had a solo home run for Gwinnett in the first inning.

Jones also finished the game with a pair of hits. \Gwinnett starting pitcher Christian Martinez allowed three runs and three hits over five innings.

In a rehab outing for the G-Braves, Atlanta Braves outfielder Nate McLouth had a single in the third inning.

Buffalo plays host to Gwinnett at 1 p.m. today at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, N.Y.
