New Georgia coach Kirby Smart began building his staff on Saturday by hiring Pittsburgh’s Jim Chaney as offensive coordinator. Georgia also announced the additions of Sam Pittman from Arkansas as offensive line coach and Alabama’s Glen Schumann as a defensive assistant. Chaney was Pitt’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
