Georgia women’s basketball player Jasmine James was named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week for the fifth time on Monday.

Last week James averaged 13 points, three rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals in helping the Lady Bulldogs defeat South Carolina and Arkansas.

Georgia (22-7, 9-7 SEC) climbed to No. 22 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll released Monday.

The Lady Bulldogs are the No. 6 seed in this weekend’s SEC Tournament and will face No. 11 seed Alabama at 9 p.m. Thursday at the Gwinnett Arena in Duluth.
