DAVIE, Fla. — Safety Reshad Jones of Georgia has been drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the NFL draft.
The Dolphins moved up to acquire Jones, trading to the Washington Redskins picks in the sixth and seventh rounds. Jones was a two-year starter at Georgia who made 11 career interceptions.
Miami earlier drafted Penn State defensive end Jared Odrick, Utah outside linebacker Koa Misi, Mississippi offensive lineman John Jerry, Iowa linebacker A.J. Edds and Maryland cornerback Nolan Carroll.
