Georgia Notebook: Crowell named Freshman of the Week

For the third week in a row, University of Georgia running back Isaiah Crowell has been named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week.

The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Columbus native rushed for 104 yards on 22 carries versus Mississippi State last weekend. It was his third game with more than 100 yards on the season.

Through five games, Crowell is averaging 103 yards per game, which tops all SEC freshmen.

The Bulldogs (3-2, 2-1 SEC) travel to Knoxville to face Tennessee at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Neyland Stadium. The pivotal SEC match-up will be televised on ESPN2.

UGA-VANDY TO BE TELEVISED: The Oct. 15 football game between Georgia) and Vanderbilt (3-1, 1-1 SEC) in Nashville will be televised by Fox Sports South with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
