Fourth-ranked LSU claimed a Southeastern Conference series over Georgia, posting a 15-5 victory Sunday.
LSU (23-4, 7-2 SEC) led 3-2 going to the bottom of the fourth when they broke open the contest with seven runs over the next three innings to defeat the Bulldogs who dropped to 10-17 overall, 2-7 in the SEC.
The Bulldogs scored their first three runs on home runs by sophomores Zach Cone and Christian Glisson. Cone’s blast extended his hitting streak to 17 games.
