The University of Georgia and UCLA will play a home-and-home football series in 2025 and 2026, according to an announcement Wednesday by Bulldogs athletics director Greg McGarity.

Georgia will visit UCLA to open the 2025 season in Pasadena, Calif. The Bulldogs will host the Bruins to open the 2026 season at Sanford Stadium.

“This home and home series provides an opportunity for our students and fans to enjoy a great matchup of two tradition-rich football programs in two of the most iconic venues in sports, the Rose Bowl and Sanford Stadium,” McGarity said.

“These games will attract significant national attention on the opening weekend of the college football season, and we are thankful to our peers at UCLA for making this series happen.”

The Bulldogs beat the Bruins in the 1983 season opener, 19-8, in Athens. Georgia defeated UCLA in the 1943 Rose Bowl game, 9-0.
