ATHENS — Georgia freshman Charles White will miss the season due to an Achilles' tendon injury that is cutting into the Bulldogs' depth at linebacker.

White, from Columbia, S.C., was expected to play on special teams and as a backup at linebacker, coach Mark Richt said. White sustained the injury on Thursday.
