Dogs, Jackets release select 2010 game times

University of Georgia’s football games with South Carolina, Arkansas and Florida this fall will be televised as part of the Southeastern Conference television package announced Thursday.

Georgia will play at South Carolina at noon on September 11 on ESPN or ESPN2. The September 18th game with Arkansas in Athens will begin at noon on either ESPN or ESPN2 and the Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville, Fla. on October 30 will begin at 3:30 p.m. on CBS.

Game times for one-third of the Georgia Tech regular season football schedule were also announced Thursday, including the season-opener Sept. 4 against South Carolina State that will begin at 1 p.m. and will be available over the Internet at ESPN3.com.

Tech’s first road game, Sept. 11 at Kansas, will be a noon start and will be televised regionally by Fox Sports Net. The Sept. 18 ACC opener at North Carolina will also kick-off at noon and will be televised by Raycom.
The Yellow Jackets’ Nov. 4 ESPN Thursday night game at Virginia Tech will be televised nationally and will begin just after 7:30 p.m.
