The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played an individual net-stroke game Wednesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course.

Rolf Legbandt placed first in the match with Eddie Johnson and Ed Pledger finishing in a tie for second.

Ron Bachman and Don Sorrell tied for fourth.

Closest to the pin winners were Herb Sckerl on No. 3, Carlyle Cox on No. 5, Bob Henderson on No. 12 and Joe Kolesar on No. 17.

LUNA: The Luna’s Tuesday Golf Group played at Royal Lakes this week.

First place went to the team of Joe Campbell, Juan Luna, Gene Cobb and Larry Cleek.

Second place went to the team of Don Rogers, Stan Davidson Jr, Jack Barrett and Frank House.

Third place went to the team of Larry Miller, Johnny Nix, Nelson Wright and Chad Pierce.

Closest to the pin winners were Davidson on No. 4, Cobb on No. 8, Campbell on No. 14 and Rogers on No. 16.

DPG: The DPG played matches Monday and Friday at Chicopee Woods Golf Course this week.

On Monday, the team of Bob Kidd and Dave Jetter took first place with a score of +8. Kidd also took first place honors in the individual match. Friday’s match was won by Kidd with a score of +1.

Denis Jordan took second with a score of even and Steve Knowles was third with a -2.
