Greg Lee, Jeff Frasier, Gayle Gibson, Roger Stapp and Karl Stiegle, Geoff Archibald, Terry McFarland and Vince Jonte’ (21 under par) tied for first place for team results in Wednesday’s Dogfight at Chicopee Woods Golf Course. Chris Jones, Paul Gibson, Terry Clegg, Darrel Pinner (19 under par) finished in third place.

Jonte’ (64) took first for individual results, Jones and Cleve Sexton (67) tied for second, Clegg (68) came in fourth, Fraiser and Gibson (69) tied for fifth, Greg Lee finished seventh and Archibald, Jim Arendt, Duane Roberts and Tony Tankersley (72) all tied for eighth.

DPG: The Dedicated Players Group played matches on Monday and Wednesday this week at Chicopee Woods Golf Club. Dwight Miller came in first place on Moday, Horace Smallwood finished second and Charley Kilby came in third. Denis Jordan finished first on Wednesday while Kilby and Miller tied for second.

CMGA: The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a two best ball, aggregated net points game Wednesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course. Stan Davidson, Jr., Don Gage and Stu Virgin finished in first place, Don Sorrell, Jimmy Johnson, Joe Kolesar and Johnny Little tied for second with Bob Henderson, Ben Brooks, Richard McClure and J.B. Johnston. Doug Van, Paul Payne and Rolf Legbandt came in fourth place and Roy Lyle, Ed Pledger, Dave Gleason and Dick Bachman finished in fifth. Closest to the pin winners were Gene Weschler (No. 3), Gage (Nos. 5 and 17) and Jack Costello (No. 12).
