The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association played a low gross low net with par 4s only counting Tuesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course.

First place in the low-gross event was Ann Hollobaugh, while second place went to Ann White and third place to Susan Prather.

The low-net event winner was Violet Reynolds. Second place went to Beulah Land and third place was a tie between Carolyn Palmer and Sue Cronmiller. Closest to pin winners were Sandy Adams on No. 3 and White on No. 17.

CMGA: The Chattahoochee Mens Golf Association played a three best ball, aggregated net points game Wednesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course. 

First place went to the team of Ed Pledger, Bob Watson, John T. Smith and Gene Weschler with second place going to A.J. Kiker, Roy Lyle, Harry Barnett and Clay Bartlett. Third place was a tie between the team of Don Sorrell, Nick Grillo, Dave Long and Harmon Smith, and the team of Joe Kolesar, Chuck Keith, Bob Layne and Eddie Johnson. Fifth place went to Bud Clegg, Jere Cochran, Don Gage and Glynn Rogers. Closest to the pin winners were Gleason on No. 3, Harry Barnett on No. 5, Clegg on No. 12 and Weschler on No. 17 (hole-in-one).

DOGFIGHT: The Wednesday Dogfight took place at Chicopee Woods Golf Course this week. Jim Arendt, Jerry Horton and Bud Chandler took first place with a 20-under par net score. Second place went to Terry Clegg, Don Schrum and Bill Jorgenson at 12-under par.

Chandler had the low individual score of the day (66), with Karl Steigele placing second (67). Arendt, Schrum and Geoff Archibald tied for third with a 70.

LUNA: The Luna’s Tuesday golf group played at Chicopee Woods this week.

First place went to the team of Sam McGee, Bud Chandler, Royce Deaton and Stan Davidson Sr. Second place went to the team of Gene Weschler, Frank House, Don Rogers and Jack Barrett. Stan Davidson Jr, Jerry Johns, Cleve Brown and Larry Miller teamed up for third. Closest to the pin winners were Rogers on No. 4, McGee on No. 7, Deaton on No. 2 and Miller on No. 5.

DPG: The DPG played matches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week at Chicopee Woods golf course.
On Monday, Terrence Dale and Dwight Miller tied for first place with a score of +2.  Charley Kilby was second with a +1.

On Wednesday, Ken Lightfoot partnered with Charley Kilby to take first in the team competition with a +4.  Lightfoot also took first in the individual match with a +6.  Steve Knowles and James Roberts finished second in the team competition with a +1.

On Friday, Terrence Dale placed first with a +8.  Denis Jordan was second with +6.  Jerry Shell took third place with +3 and Doug Padgett was fourth with +2.
