Hope wins Senior Championship at Chicopee Woods

Walter Hope won the 2010 Senior Championship at Chicopee Woods Golf Course on Sunday by firing a 7-under-par, 137 in 36 holes. This is the second championship for Hope, with the first coming in 2007.

Duane Roberts had the next lowest score in the competition at 147.

Joe Ingram won the Super Senior division (60 and older) for the second straight year by firing a 150. Tommy Calhoun finished second in the first flight with a 142, while Dan Arthurs came in third with a 143. Roger Stapp shot a 146 to take fourth place.

Charlie Martin won the second flight with a 140 and Bill Jorgenson’s 143 was good enough for second.

Jim Gillespie was third with a 144 with Don Schrum taking fourth place with a 145.
