Morgan House and Robert Finlayson, both of Gainesville, will represent the U.S. Canoe/Kayak Sprint Team at the 2011 Pan American Games on Wednesday through Saturday in Guadalajara, Mexico.

House will compete in both one-man and four-man kayak races of 1000 meters.
Finlayson, the winner of four national titles at the 2011 Sprint National Championships will race in the one-man canoe 200 meters and 1000 meters.

Except for House’s K4 race, which can only qualify for the World Championships, athletes must win their respective events to qualify for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
