North Georgia College & State University’s eight-game winning streak ended Sunday as Flagler College took a 13-7 at Bob Stein Stadium in Dahlonega.
An early 2-0 lead got away from the Saints (32-17) in the fifth when Flagler scored seven runs. North Georgia trimmed the lead to 7-5 on Troy Snitker’s three-run homer in the bottom of the inning, but could get no closer.
The Saints wrap up the regular season at 7 p.m. Tuesday, when Truett McConnell visits.
