The Piedmont College men’s lacrosse team will host scrimmages against the University of Georgia and Clemson University varsity teams on Sunday in Demorest.

The Lions’ first game of the day will be at 10 a.m. against the Bulldogs. Following a Georgia and Clemson, scrimmage the Lions will take the field against the Tigers.

The scrimmages will cap Piedmont’s fall practice before heading into the NCAA Division-III season which begins in February.

Under the direction of coach Peter Manderano, the spring of 2012 will mark Piedmont’s first year as a varsity program.
