North Georgia women's golf sits sixth in PBC tournament opening round

Gainesville graduate LeeAnn Noble had a 98 for North Georgia College & State University’s golf team in the opening round of the 2012 Peach Belt Conference Tournament at the par-71 Callaway Gardens. Noble holds sole possession of 35th heading into the final round for the Lady Saints.

Catalina Olarte was the low scorer for North Georgia finishing with a 76. Case Truelove shot an 81 for the Lady Saints to sit in 20th place heading into the final round and Erica Breeden finished with an 85.

North Georgia shot an aggregate total of 327 to sit in sixth place and now sit 24 shots off the pace, while holding a one shot lead over seventh place Montevallo.

The Lady Saints wrap up their season and the 2012 PBC Tournament at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Callaway Gardens.
