DAHLONEGA - The Peach Belt Conference released the bracket for the Women's Soccer Tournament on Saturday evening and North Georgia College & State University will play host to Clayton State on Tuesday afternoon in opening round action.

The Lady Saints, ranked No. 11 in the country in the latest NSCAA Division II Top 25 Poll, will be the No. 2 seed in the tournament and will welcome seventh-seeded Clayton State to town for a 4:30 p.m. contest at the Soccer Complex.

North Georgia is 1-6-1 all time in the PBC Tournament, but finally broke through last year, advancing past Georgia College in Penalty kicks and defeating Armstrong Atlantic in the semifinals to advance to the program's first-ever tournament championship game.

The Lady Saints are 0-1-1 in their history of hosting PBC Tournament games, as they will look to pick up their first home playoff victory in school history.

North Georgia has faced Clayton State just one time in PBC Tournament history, a 2006 opening round game on the road where the Lakers came away with a 4-0 victory.

Earlier this year, North Georgia used a pair of second-half goals to take down Clayton State on the road, but this time the Lady Saints have them at home and its win or go home for the Lakers.

At No. 1 in the latest NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Poll, North Georgia is likely a lock to advance to the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament, but a run deep into the PBC Tournament would solidify that bid and give the Lady Saints a chance of hosting a first round contest.
