Elana Newman and Mika Lopes each scored a goal in the final 10 minutes for Young Harris (4-0) as the women’s soccer team defeated Brevard College 2-0 on Tuesday in Young Harris. The Mountain Lions outshot Brevard 29-3 in the game, and goal keeper Taylor Erickson recorded her second shutout of the season. Young Harris travels to North Georgia College & State University for their first conference match on Saturday in Dahlonega.
