The North Georgia College & State University men’s tennis team swept Newberry College, 9-0, on Tuesday at the Yahoola Creek Tennis Facility in Dahlonega.
The Saints (3-2) were led by singles wins from Flipe Friedrich, Mateus Camasmie, Adrien Saulaid, Brandon Sloan, Ernesto Farinas and Andy McMaster and doubles wins from the teams of Sloan/Friedrich, Saulais/Camasmie and Giovani Santos/Farinas.
North Georgia has the next 10 days off before returning to action against Georgia Southern at 2:30 p.m. March 5 in Americus.

NGCSU MEN FINISH 10TH: The Saints fired a final round 307 in the 2011 Armstrong Pirate Invitational at the Savannah Quarters Country Club.
Howard Duffin led the Saints, finishing in a tie for 25th place after firing a final round 76.
North Georgia will face the University of Dayton-Ohio on March 4 at Reynolds Plantation.
