The North Georgia College & State University softball team is ranked second in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Poll, released Wednesday.

The Lady Saints sit 14 points behind top-ranked Angelo State and are coming off a 3-0 weekend at the Mid South Classic, which included a win over No. 15 Lenoir-Rhyne.

North Georgia hosts Tusculum College for a doubleheader on Friday afternoon.
