Sydney Sprague led the ninth-ranked University of North Georgia softball team with a pair of home runs in a 7-0 win against the University of Montevallo on Tuesday in Montevallo, Ala., locking up the regular-season league title and No. 1 seed for the Peach Belt Conference tournament. With the win, the Nighthawks (41-10, 20-4 Peach Belt Conference) open the conference tournament against Francis Marion University at 6:30 p.m. Friday in Milledgeville.
