The third-ranked University of North Georgia softball team punched its ticket to an NCAA Division II Super Regional by winning two games Saturday at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium in Dahlonega. The Nighthawks, who lost their Southeast Regional I opener last Thursday, beat Limestone 8-1 and 5-3 to win their third and fourth straight elimination games. North Georgia will host a Super Regional on Thursday and Friday against the winner of today’s game between Armstrong State and Pfeiffer.
