Andres Perez hit the go-ahead two-run double with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning, and the University of North Georgia baseball team rolled past Georgia Southwestern State University, 10-6, on Wednesday during the Peach Belt Conference Tournament in Florence, S.C. The Nighthawks came back from a four-run deficit with a two-run bottom of the fourth and a four-run bottom of the fifth. North Georgia’s Devin Gearhart hit a two-run single to cut Georgia Southwestern State’s lead to 5-3. Late in the bottom of the fifth, Perez had the go-ahead hit to put the Nighthawks 7-5.
