Four Brenau volleyball players won postseason awards at the Southern States Athletic Conference Banquet in Rome last week.
Junior Karen Green was named to the All-Conference Second Team, sophomores Meredith Hardin and junior Maida Smajic were named to the SSAC All-Academic Team.
Additionally, junior Audra VanArsdale represented the Tigers on the Champions of Character squad.

Brenau soccer players awarded
 
Members of the Brenau soccer team received awards from the Southern State Athletic Conference this week.
Senior Kelly Young, junior Lily Futrell and sophomore Lisa Lesnick were each named to the All-Conference First Team.
Junior Marilyn Anderson, of Oakwood, was the Tigers’ lone representative on the All-Conference Second Team. Junior Leanee Rowley represented Brenau on the Champions of Character Team.
Futrell, Rowley and seniors Jennifer Rainey and Mandy Ulseth were named to the Conference All-Academic Team.

Brenau runners awarded

Four Brenau cross country runners received award from the Southern State Athletic Conference on Thursday.
Sophomore Hillary Corey represented the Tigers on the Champions of Character team.
Corey, along with senior Diana Cardenas and sophomore Audra Cochran and Shkurte Ejupi were named to SSAC All-Academic Team.
Additionally, Cardenas received the NAIA Academic Scholar Award.
