ATLANTA — The Atlanta Thrashers have signed first-round pick Evander Kane to a multiyear deal

The team did not include financial terms of the deal Monday with the 17-year-old forward. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Kane had 48 goals and 48 assists in 61 games for his junior team, the Vancouver Giants.

He was picked fourth overall.
