ATLANTA — Atlanta Hawks forward Marvin Williams is not traveling with the team for Friday night's game at Minnesota after injuring his right knee in Wednesday night's win over Detroit.
The Hawks say Williams' knee will be examined on Thursday afternoon.
Williams left Wednesday night's game in the fourth quarter after landing hard on his right knee in a battle with Greg Monroe for a loose ball.
Guard Jamal Crawford, who missed the Detroit game with a turf toe injury, is making the trip to Minnesota. His status for Friday night's game is uncertain.
