Two nationally-televised games and a matchup across the pond highlight the Atlanta Falcons’ 2014 schedule, announced Wednesday.
In Week 3, Atlanta plays host to Tampa Bay on Thursday Night Football before traveling to London to face the Detroit Lions at Wembley Stadium on Oct. 26. The Falcons will be featured on Monday Night Football on Dec. 8 as they visit Green Bay.
Atlanta will also face NFC South rivals and 2013 playoff teams New Orleans and Carolina twice each this season, including the season opener against the Saints at home on Sept. 7, which will mark the first season opener in Atlanta since 2009.
The Falcons will close out the season against Carolina for the second year in a row at home on Dec. 28.
