ATLANTA — Right-hander Brandon Beachy has left the Atlanta Braves' game against the Baltimore Orioles with right elbow soreness.

Beachy retired his first 11 batters and was leading the majors with a 1.89 ERA when he was pulled in the fourth inning Saturday night. The Braves announced the injury was "recurring elbow soreness" and said he will be evaluated.

After walking Chris Davis on six pitches with two out in the fourth, Beachy stopped in front of the mound and signaled for catcher Brian McCann that he was injured.

Beachy walked off the field during a mound visit from manager Fredi Gonzalez.
