Union County edged Rabun County 10-7 on Friday night in Tiger.

T. Bentley scored on the first play of the second quarter on a 3-yard run as the Panthers earned their first subregion win.

Eric Hougrand hit a go-ahead 40-yard field goal a few minutes later in the second.

Union County (2-6, 1-3 Region 8-AA North) will host Fannin County next Friday.
