Commerce rolled past Towns County 58-0 on Friday to stay in the region playoff hunt.

The Tigers were able to capitalize on a number of Towns County mistakes at Ray Lamb Stadium in Commerce.

J’Varius Wood and Cole Chancey each recovered fumbles and returned them for touchdowns. Trevonta Williford notched a 63-yard punt return score.

Grant Mayberry scored a pair of rushing touchdowns for Commerce (6-2, 5-1 Region 8-A), and J.J. Jones, Knox Allen, and Braxton Legg all rushed for scores. Andres Salgado made a 30-yard field goal.

The Tigers finished with 306 yards of offense compared to Towns County’s 49 yards.
