Lumpkin County’s Cole White threw the winning touchdown to Noah Denard on Friday in a 20-14 win over White County at The Burial Grounds in Dahlonega.
The game was a makeup from the teams' Aug. 26 season opener postponed by thunderstorms.
White finished the night with 115 yards rushing and two touchdowns for the Indians (3-2).
Wesley Wells made two field goals for the Indians, one a 48-yarder.
Lumpkin’s Denard finished the night with 69 yards rushing.
Lumpkin plays host to North Hall next Friday in Dahlonega. White County plays host to Blessed Trinity.
