Jackson County bested county rival East Jackson 35-15 on Friday in Commerce.
Jackson County senior quarter Jacob Lewis was 18-of-21 through the air for two touchdowns, and he also added a rushing touchdown in the Panthers’ win. Lewis had a streak of 12 straight completions.
Running back Malik Tuck rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown, with his longest coming on 28-yard run.
Jackson County (2-7, 1-4 Region 8-AAA) has a bye week next Friday before visiting Morgan County on Nov. 7 in Madison.
