A year after finishing 1-9, Habersham Central capped a bounceback season with a 49-21 win over Apalachee to finish 5-5.

Habersham’s Cole Wilbanks threw for 289 yards and scored four touchdowns. Trey Hurt had six receptions for 139 yards and totaled three touchdowns for the Raiders.

Michael Babers had two touchdowns and Aaron Galloway had one touchdown for Habersham, which posted its first Region 8-AAAAAA win of the season.

Brandon Mitchell had six tackles in his last game for the Raiders and Jake Jones contributed to the defense with two interceptions.
