Habersham Central beaten by South Forsyth, 55-35

South Forsyth piled up the yards and the points in a 55-35 win over Habersham Central Friday night at War Eagle Stadium.

Raiders’ running back Michael Babers had 194 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Habersham Central trailed 41-14 at halftime. South Forsyth recovered two Raider fumbles and increased their lead to 55-14 two minutes into the third quarter.

Habersham Central quarterback Bryce Tanner went 15-for-29 for 221 yards and two touchdowns. Jim Barnett had six catches for 101 yards and a touchdown, while Mason Kinsey had 31 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Habersham Central (0-3) visits West Forsyth 7:30 p.m. next Friday.
