Clarke Central defeated Habersham Central 34-20 on Friday night in Athens.

Kevin Ellison set the Habersham Central career rushing record. Ellison rushed the ball 18 times for 96 yards and a touchdown, bringing the senior’s career total to 2,811 yards. He also completed 9 of 21 attempts for 152 yards and another touchdown on a 20-yard pass to Zack Franks.

The Raiders were tied with Clark Central 14-14 at the half before being outscored 20-6 in the second.

Habersham Central (2-2, 2-2 Region 8-AAAA) travels to Danielsville to take on Madison County in a region match-up Friday.
