Dawson County rolls past Rabun 41-7

Dawson County defeated Rabun County 41-7 on Friday night in Tiger.

Zack Martin had 20 carries for 165 yards and three touchdowns and went over 1,000 yards on the season as the Tigers won their third straight game.

Tyler Dominy, who passed for 76 yards in the rain, connected with Will Anglin for a 35-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter. Martin added a 7-yard touchdown run to make the score 14-0 at the half.

Martin's second rushing touchdown, this one from 25 yards out, and a 30-yard field goal gave Dawson County a 24-0 lead.

The Wildcats ran back a kickoff, while Dominy and Martin ran for touchdowns to end the game.

Dawson County (5-4, 4-1) will host Jefferson on Friday. The winner of this game will advance to the playoffs.
