Chestatee runs past Pepperell, 24-19

Tray Bryant paced Chestatee with 154 rushing yards in a 24-19 win over Pepperell on Friday in Lindale.

A.J. Sijiye added 96 yards in the War Eagles' (1-1) first win of the season.

Chestatee rushed for a total of 394 yards and added 69 passing.

The War Eagles (1-2) are off next Friday before visiting North Oconee on Sept. 26 in Bogart.
