I just finished reading the letter written by Jesse Jenkins. I was moved by the compassionate and positive manner in which it was written.

It has caused me to reflect on the recent letter that I wrote concerning the actions of our newly elected county commissioners. While I strongly disagree with them, I want to apologize for the negative manner in which I wrote.

My message should have been one of encouragement, asking God to guide and direct them as they make decisions affecting the citizens of Hall County.

Thank you, Mr. Jenkins, for reminding me that we should present a Christian attitude in all the we say or do.
