On March 4, 2010, my father, Boyd Hulsey, died of an extended illness. Boyd was a retired Captain of the Hall County Sheriffs Office. I wanted to thank the Hall County Sheriff's Office and Sheriff Steve Cronic for the professionalism displayed in sending my dad to his final assignment.

I especially want to thank the Honor Guard and Sgt. Bonner Burton for their support, dedication and the respect shown to my father, family and friends.

The support, duty and honor displayed by all members of the Sheriff's Office during this trying time, helped to ease the pain of a suffering family. They are to be commended for all they do for the residents of Hall County.

Hall County should be very proud of its Sheriff's Office. Only seven sheriff's offices in Georgia has attained National Accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, and Hall County is one of those. This is a sign of the tireless dedication this agency provides to the residents of Hall County.

I am very proud of the Sheriff's Office and the many friends I have working there, and consider them my extended law enforcement family.

Residents of Hall County, support your department and be proud of having such a fine agency protecting you.

Eddie B. Hulsey
